The CCM U+ Crazy Light shoulder pads are the premier shoulder pad from CCM. The name speaks for itself, these shoulder pads are extremely light, yet highly protective thanks to a "game changing" new material being used called U Foam™.
In addition to being "Crazy Light", U Foam™ performs at a superior level when absorbing high velocity impacts without the need for PE inserts and it's water resistant allowing a player to remain lightweight for the entire duration of the game. U Foam™ is being used on the shoulder caps and clavicle area and every panel is attached using elastic stretch zones for maximum mobility.
Important Video Note: This video was shot using the specs found on the Sr size shoulder pad. On the Jr size shoulder pad the new U Foam™ material is only being used on the shoulder caps and clavicle area.
The body is constructed of molded and laminated foam with ventilation to regulate body temperature. The CL shoulder pads also have an adjustable velcro strap on the bicep guards to add a custom feel. Other features include A-symmetrical low profile shoulder caps and ventilated body and back panels for an overall sleek, highly breathable pad design.

Previous Feedback
Comments: From the players Dad: safety and performance are priority. The Crazy Light shoulder pad for my bantam son fit good and protect the sternum and spine with a
flexible shield. The collar is comfortable and the shoulder pads do not restrict movement. Great value. My son likes the comfort, looks and light weight. They do not bind him up when he takes a slap shot. Almost like a second protective skin that he wears. They give him the confidence to check and block shots more too.
