The CCM Extreme Flex II 860 Goalie Blocker has taken the wildly successful Extreme Flex 500 blocker and added some great improvements in comfort and protection. The blocker has a new dual layer finger protection design that has high density foam on the outside and a softer low density foam on the inside that gives even better coverage and comfort than before.

CCM's Extreme Flex II 860 blocker is constructed with a laminated dual density foam board, which helps with rebound control and reduces stingers. The 860 blocker has microfiber throughout the face, high wear areas, and is also used to stitch the Extreme Flex II graphic onto the face of the blocker. 400 denier nylon is used on the back side of the goalie blocker and cuff protection, ensuring excellent durability. The Extreme Flex II 860 blocker has a bindingless construction that eliminates fraying that occurs in the high wear areas of the blocker.

The E-Flex II 860 blocker is using a nash reinforced palm, which has a comfortable feel and is reinforced at the high wear areas. The blocker has a centered palm position that creates perfect balance and promotes more consistent movements. The ventilated mesh gussets, located on the palm and fingers, help keep the goaltender's hand dry during the game by allowing extra airflow.

The side hand protection on the E-Flex II 860 comes from an injection molded thumb and a mixture of high and low density foams in the fingers. This design creates complete wrap around protection while still remaining very comfortable.

The cuff on the Extreme Flex II 860 has an open design and an adjustable strap, ensuring that the blocker remains secured to the hand.
