Cut Protection Level

The CCM Extreme Flex 400 Goalie Leg Pads are designed for youth goaltenders playing up to the intermediate levels of ice hockey. The CCM Extreme Flex pads provide innovative features and protection designed to maximize a goalkeepers overall playing potential.
Materials used on the face and high wear areas of the CCM 400 goalie leg pad is wrapped with PU leather adding to the overall durability. 400 D nylon material is used to line the inner side of the leg pad as well as leg channel, great for moisture wicking.
Various density lightweight foams are used throughout Extreme Flex 400 CCM goalie pads ensuring proper protection and performance. CCM's foam core insert provides the majority of the internal structure, maximizing the goaltenders blocking surface area and allows the pads to keep their shape over time. The Extreme Flex line of leg pads offer goaltenders a more traditional feel thanks to the large knee rolls. The 400 CCM leg pad comes standard with double breaks in the outer roll above and below the knee for maximum flexibility and mobility, ideal for active goalkeepers. These pads also come with an adjustable under-pant thigh protector for increased protective coverage. The three piece knee stack system keeps the goaltenders knee elevated, reducing overall joint stress and allows for increased leg extension. CCM's narrow leg channel design allows the pad to rotate when dropping down as well as contours the shin and skates for precise pad movements and control. CCM's three-piece segmented calf wrap design is constructed using soft low density foams providing additional calf protection and comfort. CCM's nylon, elastic and leather strapping systems allows the goaltender to adjust the leg pad for a customized fit.
