The Reebok 9K Goalie Stick features Super Lightweight OPS construction for fast reactions. The 9K goal stick also uses Reebok's Matrix Guard technology throughout the stick to reduce the overall weight and help in vibration dampening, but also to provide additional durability.

For increased puck control, the 9K stick utilizes Reebok's Guided Blade Technology, which is a series of dimples along the blade and paddle. Like the 11k, this stick is also using a rubber Griptonite™ coating so the stick can be held and controlled easily, especially when playing the puck. That grip coating is found above the paddle shoulders.
