Overview

The Miken MV-3  Pro hockey sticks are the premier hockey sticks from Miken offering unmatched power and response. Miken offers their patented Biaxial "Continuous Fiber" technology for maximum energy and a long lasting lively feel.

Miken has been a leader in sports composite engineering and are now taking their knowledge and applying it to hockey sticks. Miken uses the highest grade of aerospace carbon fiber along with a patented resin bonding process that allows for unmatched power and a snappy jump to the puck on shots and passes. The low kick point helps offer that quick shot release to keep goalies on their toes.

The MV 3 Pro hockey sticks feature a matted black finish that offers a smooth feel with some additional control from standard smooth stick finishes.  The MV-3 Pro has a similar construction as the MV-3 stick

Comments:Nice Stick!! defenitely different then all the others I've used. It is really snappy. I noticed right off that it doesn't have a soft feel. nothing is dampened. I can feel the puck on the blade very well. I like that I am nice and accurate with it. I used the bp 40

Comments:I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that Easton, Bauer, Warrior or Reebok suck. Because they don't. I'm also not going to say that Miken makes the greatest stick ever...Why? Because we are all different - thus have different opinions, expections and interpretations of what a stick does, and should do based on its own characteristics(kickpoint location, balance, and shaft geometry.) What I will say is that I purchased a Miken MV-3 PRO and it fit my needs, and exceeded my expections when the other brands couldn't. So much so, that I purchased a second Miken. Not because the first one broke. Because I liked it that much.

Comments:I have used this stick for about 8 weeks now, and to be honest I am in love with it. It helped my team win the grand final last week and also myself personally with the highest point scorers trophy, although I was using a different stick for the first half the season. Please keep in mind I am talking about inline, not Ice. I had been using a Mission Pulse stick, and one of the interesting aspects of that stick is the shorter length of the head. So I was looking for a top of the line stick with a similar shorter than average headpeice, since I had come to like it. So I was delighted when i found the BP 12 model has the shorter head with same curve as the mission, this made the transition very easy. Last week I ordered the M V 3 (non pro) as a spare stick, and it arrived yesterday and its pretty good, but I much prefer the finish on the Pro stick, matt black, and more grippy, but not overly grippy. The normal one has a glossy white finish with less grip. The only downside of these sticks are they are quite expensive. If you wanted to see the stick in action, go to youtube and search "stokesy gets greedy", and you will see an 8 second clip of this stick getting a fantastic goal from a wide angle into the top left corner, although the video quality makes it difficult to see that.
