The Bauer NME 9 Pro Non-Certified Goalie Masks offer the same great protection as the NME 9 masks, but with increased visibility.
The Bauer NME 9 N/C goalie mask is composed of Composite fiber/Aramid Fiber construction to provide high-quality protection as well as a lightweight feel. For added impact protection Bauer has added Titanium reinforcement to the chin and forehead areas. Titanium adds strength, but also decreases weight. Bauer has used several ventilation holes throughout the mask to allow for a cool feel on the head.
The cage used on the NME 9 N/C mask is a non-certified carbon steel wire cage. The N/C cat eye design allows for increased visibility, but does not offer the same level of protection as traditional certified cages. The NME 9 masks are offered in 3 different fit types to ensure a great fit for anyone.
The NME 9 masks use a quad-density foam liner to provide maximum protection. The most notable foam used in this mask is the black foam used in the pressure points of the mask. This advanced foam has a soft gel-like feel to alleviate that pressure and provide a comfortable fit. This mask also uses a vibration dampening system to reduce the impact when you take a hard shot to the dome.
The NME 9 mask comes with a padded carrying bag to protect your investment.

Previous Feedback
Comments: I can't believe it, since I have always worn an ITECH mask. But I was really disappointed this time. The mask looks great, but there is so much padding in it that it doesn't even come close to the sizes stated I had to strip out all of it and start over. Not something you want to do after spending almost $900.00. Also the padded bag is garbage, I am glad I still have my old ITECH bag. My next mask will NOT BE A BAUER.
