KT Tape Pro is lightweight, comfortable and able to treat and/or prevent countless common injuries. Applied along muscles, ligaments, and tendons (soft tissue areas), KT Tape will provide stability and support for joints by providing an external layer of support around the joint. Easy to apply in pre-cut strips to your legs, knees, ankles/feet, back, neck/shoulder and arms.
How does it work? Mechanical mesh weave provides precisely 140% bilinear elasticity along the length of the tape, and zero elasticity in the tape's width. 140% is the same elasticity of the human skin. By matching the exact elasticity and stretching lengthwise, KT Tape flexes and moves comfortably with the body tissue, releasing and recoiling like a rubber-band.
KT Tape acts like a 2nd skin. The mesh weave construction allows the moisture (sweat) to be released and can provide relief for up 7 days per application. With its thin profile it easily fits in skates or under gear without changing the fit.
By applying KT Tape over affected tissue, athletes experience an external support which helps to prevent further injury and allows the body’s damaged tissue to rest and heal naturally despite continued activity. KT Tape also reduces inflammation and increases circulation which prevents muscle cramping and lactic acid buildup.
KT Tape Pro is designed to help you train/play longer and harder, and recover quicker.

Comments: I first tried KT tape after coming back from an elbow injury & one of the guys on our team who is a physical therapist recommended this tape. Very skeptical before trying it thinking regular trainers tape could do the same job, but this tape is very different in terms of elasticity & support. I would definitely recommend it.
If you're unsure of how to tape the area, try Youtube for proper way to apply.
