Overview
The Goalie Pad Wrap Slick Sheet 12" x 60" provides a big boost to goaltender sliding ability for Inline or Ball Hockey. The Slick Sheet uses UHMW plastic along with an adhesive backing for easy application.
The Pad Wrap Slick sheet is an easy and effective way to dramatically improve the sliding ability for goaltenders playing on inline surfaces. The UHMW plastic is easily cut to fit any sized leg pad, and it only takes one Slick Sheet to cover the inside of both leg pads. The reduced friction that occurs from adding the Slick Sheet can be the difference between being stuck in the middle of the net on a 2-on-1 or being there so quickly that you've got time to taunt the shooter by checking your watch.

Comments: Great slide, but there are still a few things Pad Wrap could perfect. I will also tell you the best way to apply it. Firstly, the sheet does start to peel up at the sides, which can be easily trimmed. The biggest problem is not so much the adhesive strength itself, but rather the plastic is so low friction that the UHMW actually detaches from the adhesive, leaving the adhesive still stuck to the pad but the plastic to curl up. If Pad Wrap develops a way to keep the two in tact, the product would be much better. As for the slide, it's great! Not as good as Rollerfly's, but at least you don't look as ridiculous and they are cheaper. Now, the best way to apply is to avoid cutting any pointed edges. Round off your edges, and they won't peel off nearly as much! I don't think Pad Wrap has done much testing on this product, so take my advice. Much better than using velcro or other things you stick on. They give you enough to do two sets of pads. I'd say under ideal conditions, one application could give you up to a year on sportcourt or smooth concrete.
