Overview
The Reebok 12K KFS Hockey Elbow Pads are ideal for entry to intermediate level play because of the JDP (Joint Discharge Principal) caps, which disperse forceful impact away from the fragile elbow joints to the surrounding muscles. Likewise, these elbow pads are equipped with Reebok's KFS shield (Kinetic Fit System), which segments protection for great mobility.
Additionally, the overall protection is increased with medium density foam and molded plastic inserts that offer great coverage of exposed areas. The crossover lock strap system further secures the elbow pads fit; therefore, players have awesome mobility! The 12K elbow pads consist of a comfort foam liner that is soft to the touch and protective.

Comments: The knob on the elbow is awesome. Comfortable strapping and inside padding. At first it feels like it might restrict your arm from straightening out, then the whole pad sorta disappears when you play.
The only thing they don't have is high upper arm bicep coverage, but good coverage down to the glove. I was totally surprised with the inside flaps' actual protection power. Don't let the price deceive you, these ARE rated for ice hockey, and the matching shin guards are good as well
