Level of Play Definitions

Cut Protection Level

  • This is the general level of protection against cuts.

    • Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
    • Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
    • Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Reebok 12K KFS Hockey Shoulder Pads are great for the entry level to intermediate player because of its low-profile construction and Kinetic Fit System (KFS). The Kinetic Fit System features segmented protection which precisely covers key areas of the body.

These protective shoulder pads provide all around coverage with their Joint Discharge Principal (JDP), which disperses impact from the joints to the surrounding muscles. The protection is reinforced with molded plastic inserts and medium density foams, which offer adequate armor at this price point! Comments: I have had these pads for about 2+ years. The pads are great for rec leagues. I play pretty physical and the pads do there jobs. The only problem I have is that they tend to slide up on me.
