The Reebok Ai9 hockey sticks are the premier sticks in the Reebok Ai stick line. The Ai hockey sticks focus on providing maximum power.  Reebok has introduced a few new features to the Ai 9 hockey stick such as, the 2:1 power taper, Xlerated Blade, and mid-kick point to make the A.I 9 stick the most powerful stick from Reebok.

The greatest difference between the Ai 9 stick and the Reebok 11K is the flex point. The Reebok AI9 stick features a mid-kick point that is not quite as fast of a shot release but it results in a more powerful shot because it allows the stick to store more energy.  Reebok recently examined several NHL players stick to see what flex profile was being used and found that 60% of the players were using mid-kick sticks and only 40% were using low kick sticks.

To further increase power Reebok has introduced the 2:1 power taper, and Xlerated blade. The 2:1 ratio is that the top and bottom walls are twice as stiff as the sides. According to Reebok this design allows for effortless loading and maximum power transfer/stability. Reebok has also added a new blade core to the Ai 9 stick which they are calling the Xlerated Blade. The Xlerated Blade is a new highly reactive foam bare combined with an added layer of extra stiff carbon on the blade surface provide more direct power.

The Reebok Ai nine stick features a dark profile from the players perspective to make it a little easier for the player to identify with the puck.

Comments:   Great stick. Feels very similar to the old 8.0.8 model, which I loved. Solid shaft and blade. Hope they never end mid-flex sticks
From: Jon K.

Comments: I really did not like this stick very much It was kind of heavy but I mean it was very balanced it just was not for me held up very well though. It all comes down to personal preference with this stick some might like it some may not personally I did not like it very much. Had it for 2 months and I can honestly say I was not satisfied with it.

Comments: I have been using this stick for around 3-4 months now, and I have to say it has been outstanding on all aspects. Going from an Easton SE16 that broke in around 2 months to this stick, I have noticed substantial improvements in my shots, passes, and stick-handling. The stick has been amazingly durable so far, I've been using it 4-5 times a week for around 4 months and have noticed very little chipping or blemishing which usually leads to stick breaks.

I would say this is easily the best stick I have ever used - would HIGHLY recommend you pick it up if your looking for a high end stick.

Comments: Ive used this stick for well over a year now and couldn's be happier! After using Easton pretty much my whole life I switched to Reebok after breaking three EQ50's in under 6 months. Needless to say, Reebok has my business from here on out.

The biggest thing is the durability. This is the first top of the line stick thats lasted me more than half a year. I play at least 5 days a week, just for fun now, but when I was playing ACHA this stick held up to that level easily. Very quick release on snappers and my clappers from the point have never been as good as they are with the Ai9. They are quick, accurate, and fast. You can really feel the puck on the stick as well. Lets me keep my eyes up constantly, never having to worry about where the puck is, allowing me, as a D, to focus on where Im putting the puck next. The dual flex system is nice too. I was skeptical at first, thinking it was just a ploy, but with me needing a stiffer flex, this system allows for more flex while still giving me the stiffness I need.An all around amazing stick. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a high end stick that will last. It's a perfect stick for an D-man!!
