Overview

The Rink Rat Hornet Split Hockey Wheels are the top of the line hockey wheels from Rink Rat. Offering unbelievable grip and speed perfect for advanced play on indoor sport court surfaces.

Mtech™ technology fuses soft, 62A super resilient inner material with a hard, high wear-resistant outer layer. The inner softer layer allows the wheel to flatten like a radial tire during turns for added surface area to increase grip and control. Using quality, resilient urethane in the inner layer, the wheel then rebounds to provide energy to the harder, faster rolling outer layer.

Comments: grippy. Feels like on ice with the edges
From: Kristin, CA

Comments: I ordered these rink rats as a replacement to a previous set of addictions, and another set of grippers. Being my first official pair of rink rats, the grip is definetly there. My game feels faster after 10 games, and I still have enough to out race my friends. I want to, and will get another set.
From: Vic, Houston, TX

Comments: These wheels nail it in every department but I think the way it wears is a little weird. It can sometimes get streaks that can create an uneven surface and I have a wheel not that has a little thump because of that kind of wear, and slight chunking on my back left wheel.

I am slightly over the weight limit, by 15 pounds, but I'm not that crazy of a skater either.

Anyway, compared to the Labeda Addictions, these wheels offer more rebound and response and a bit more cushion since it's overall compound is softer and bouncier. The addictions might have more grip though and they feel stiffer, less forgiving.

What I mean is, the texture/imperfections of the rink are more apparent when riding with the addictions but so far Addictions are a bit faster and grippier, and seem to wear much better in my experience but does not have as much rebound.

Comments: I have had two sets of these wheels Im 5'11 190 and they seem to be perfect they lasted and Kept the grip longerthen any wheels I've tried... I had labeda addiction wheels that came on my tour skates and they quickly became outdoor wheels when these  came in can't wait to get a fresh set again
From: Legacy, PA

Comments: Bought 4 of these wheels as some replacement wheels for my sons skates. Not only do they look cool they perform outstanding! He skates smooth, fast and stops effortlessly with these wheels. He loves them! We combined 4 of these wheels with 4 of the limited edition yellow/white ones that were on sale and the skates perform extremely nice! I would recommend any of the rink rat split wheels if you want high performance and a bonus if want a color preference, otherwise, this black/white wheel makes the skates look sick!

Comments: Best wheels on the market. Good quality. Filthy style.

Comments: these wheels are very fast and hockey stop very well
From: Mike

Comments: The best wheels that I ever had. The grip on them is great and they are very fast if you use them with Swiss bearings. These wheels are worth the money. I am 165 pounds and I play 5-6 times a week. I owned them for about a month and a 1/2 now and their is no wear on them. the stopping on them is like stopping on ice. GREAT WHEELS!!!
From: Jared

Comments: I bought a set of these for my Mission Commanders. I play 2-3 times a week competitively but was disappointed to have this wheel chunk out on me after 2 months. Was a great wheel up to that point, but for the price was expecting better wear. Stopped/started/turned well on the indoor sport court and has really cool graphics. Will be trying the Labeda Addictions next. 6'3" - 165lbs - Advanced
From: Nathan, Denver

Comments:Used to love this wheel but for a grown man it tends to shred easily. only used for about six months and they split open on me, used on a sport court material and seriously dissatisfied with them. grip strength and rebound are great if under 160 pounds.
From: Rick

Comments:I bought these over a month ago. I use 2 of the 76A inside and 78A on the front and back to offer a speed/grip combo for myself. They are very grippy. At first they will seem over grip you can get a dead almost ice hockey feel type stop immediately. I play 3-4 times a week at a high level and the wear has been almost minimal. Used Labeda's before but I will not go back. They also have a great design to them players and fans alike. I turned them so they spin on the outside edge and it is very creative and different. If you can get these I suggest them to anyone.
From: Mike

Comments: Best wheel out there. Better rebound than the addictions. Only negative is they dont wear that great.
