Overview

The Rink Rat Identity Krysis Hockey Wheels are the flagship model in the Identity lineup. Forged from Rink Rat's Dual Duro Mtech™ technology, these wheels present the best grip, speed and durability on indoor tile.

The Identity Krysis hockey wheel is the first true 3 pour wheel on the market, melding 3 separate urethane pieces to create best combination of speed and grip. Like their Mtech™ technology, the Dual Duro Mtech™ technology utilizes a soft 62a urethane in the core, a 68a urethane ring covering the core, then a pro level urethane on the exterior. The 62a core allows for the wheel to flex and create a greater surface area for grip when turning. The 68a ring is designed to keep the wheel stiff while you're in stride for better responsiveness and speed. The outer pro level urethane is offered in 2 hardnesses for either better speed or grip.

  • Ideal Playing Surface: Sport Court
  • Hardness Guidelines:
    • 76A (XXX) = 175 lbs and below
    • 78A (XX)= 175 lbs and above
    • Hardness selection should be based on player weight and skating ability.  A player can choose a wheel designated for a heavier skater if they have advanced skating skills to compress the wheel enough to grip.  This will allow the player to maximize their speed.
  • Fit Guidelines: Standard hub wheel designed for the standard 608 bearing size

Comments: I bought these wheels to replace my addiction wheels, because the back wheels started cracking after a couple seasons. I have 76a in the front and 78a on the back with bones swiss ceramic bearings. I have to say for the money, I am very disappointed with the wheels. The grip and durability seem good but they have no speed compared to the addiction wheels. Speed is my game and these don't have any, so I switched back.

Comments: I must admit, Rink Rat's Identity Krysis wheels are extraordinary! Without a doubt, the acceleration and responsiveness will surprise you. I am now able to make tighter turns like never before and have gained more control. I was shocked by how awesome stopping had become.. Hence, what the previous reviewer commented is so true. These wheels are a top performer and will prove themselves one of a kind!

They are the most expensive wheels I have used, but have been worth it.

Comments: The Rink Rat Identity Krysis are the best wheels I have ever had. I have gone through the original Rink Rat Hornets, Spits Labeda Dynasty, Addictions, Revision Variant Plus, and for 4 tourny games the horrible Eschelon wheels. I have never had wheels that will let me turn as tight as these wheels will being sticky the whole way through. Not only will they let you turn tighter than you ever have before but they almost explode out of the turn giving you an add speed bust. At the same time I can by changing the angle of your foot you can stop on a dime. Normally when wheels work this good they wear out fast but I have four games on them and around 25-30 games ref'd on them. Yes yes I know us refs do not skate that hard when we are working but it is still wear and tear on the wheels and the wheels are still just as sticky as the day I bought them.

Con: The price point is high but they are worth every dime.
FYI I had to pay for my set no freebees for me.
