The Sher-Wood T70 Undercover Comp Goalie Stick is similar to the top end T90 Undercover sticks with the main difference being the use of materials.
The T70 Undercover is based on the same technology as the the high end T90 Undercover goal stick. The main difference is the use of high modulus carbon fiber on the T90 Undercover compared to carbon fiber and fiberglass on the T70 Undercover. This makes the T70 Undercover stick slightly heavier then it's superior. Sher-Wood continues using what they are calling D-Flector + technology, a proprietary construction that features cross-linked membrane inserted on both sides of the paddle that helps with rebound control. Reducing the vibration on impact is a Vibration Reduction Foam Core ++, light high-density foam that is wrapped with carbon fiber and fiberglass. This gives great vibration dampening and nice control over rebounds. Just like the T90 Undercover, T70 undercover is using a Power Inner Core +, that is layers of material strategically positioned to capture and distribute energy across the paddle for greater vibration absorption. Keeping this stick at a perfect balance, Sher-Wood is using their Equilibrium technology. The weight of the blade, paddle and shaft have been balanced, allowing the goalie to have better puck control while keeping the fatigue down on your blocker hand. Sher-Wood has opted to use their Tradfeel shaft design, squared walls with rounded corners that give the goalie a very traditional feel.
Sher-Wood's new line of Undercover goalie sticks have a lot to offer, from their lightweight construction, materials used, beautiful graphic design styling, and their performance on the rink. This new lineup is sure to please goalies of all ages and playing levels.
