The Sher-Wood T90 Comp Goalie Stick is one of the top of the line options for 2012, offering a durable lightweight design.

The T90 is almost identical to the T90 goal stick in construction with the main difference coming from the graphic design on the exterior. Design features that help with rebound control is Sher-Wood's D-Flector + technology, a proprietary construction that features cross-linked membrane inserted on both sides of the paddle. Reducing the vibration on impact is a Vibration Reduction Foam Core ++. This light, high-density foam that is wrapped with high modulus carbon fiber that keeps the stick lightweight, yet gives excellent vibration dampening and great control over rebounds. The T90 is using a Power Inner Core +, that is layers of material strategically positioned to capture and distribute energy across the paddle for greater vibration absorption. Keeping this stick at a perfect balance, Sher-Wood is using their Equilibrium technology. The weight of the blade, paddle and shaft have been balanced, allowing the goalie to have better puck control while keeping the fatigue down on your blocker hand. Sher-Wood has opted to use their Tradfeel shaft design, squared walls with rounded corners that give the goalie a very traditional feel.

Sher-Wood's been designing hockey sticks and protective gear for over 60 years and continues to make high quality products. The Sher-Wood T90 is an excellent lightweight, durable goal stick that is suitable for any playing level.

Comments: I have used this stick for a full season, now. I used to play with a Warrior Messiah, which is a good stick, but what I immediately noticed with the Sher-Wood is the impact absorption. Unlike other sticks I've used, when you make a stick save, the impact isn't transferred hard into your arm, and you won't feel the stick vibrating from the shot. It's amazingly light, at about 750 g, which makes maneuvering it for a quick save easier, and helps with puck handling. I full heartedly recommend the T90, the best stick I've ever played with. (That the carbon look is cool is a nice bonus, too)
