Power-Focused Playing Style

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play

The Tour Bio Custom Goalie Leg Pads offer very nice leg protection for goalies playing up to the intermediate levels of ice hockey.
Synthetic leather, lightweight nylon and tough Cordura™ fabrics used on the exterior give the pads excellent durability. Quick drying micro fabric is used throughout the leg channel, down into the boot area providing very nice comfort. Custom stuffing used in the Bio Custom leg pads is very light and and reduces the rebound giving goalies more control. Various low, medium and high density foams give the pad excellent protection in the key areas as well as offers a comfortable fit.
Various protection features offered on the Bio Custom leg pads make this pad a great choice. Protecting the upper leg area is the thigh guard flap, designed using medium density foam and poly insert to help disperse impact energy. The knee cradle is designed with soft foam inserts and lined with the quick drying micro fabric material. Protecting the inner knee while in the butterfly position is the 4 layer knee stack. The first three layers consist of 3/4" medium density foam, with the outer flap designed with soft foam and round poly insert. Two low density foam flaps protect the calf area with an additional large dual leg wrap extending over the calf wraps. The dual leg wrap is constructed with a round poly insert for added inner skate protection and two high density foam inserts that will help seal off the 5 hole faster.
Various straps are used to secure the leg pads into place. Adjustable elastic straps secure the thigh guard and knee cradle in place adding comfort and protection. Two nylon straps adjust around the upper leg, locking into place with the quick release plastic buckles. Leather straps are used throughout the rest of the Tour Bio Customs, three that lock the calf into place, and two that are designed to keep the skate from moving around as well as keep the pads from lifting.
The Tour Bio Custom goalie leg pads are very well priced for the protection they provide making them a great choice.
