The Bauer Tuuk Lightspeed 2.1 runners are one of the replacement runners available for the Lightspeed 2 holder. The Tuuk Lightspeed 2.1 are a bit longer than the standard Tuuk Lightspeed runners to help increase speed and power. The Tuuk runners are sold in pairs.
- General Bauer Sizing Guidelines
- Junior sizes 1.0-5.0
- On D and EE width skates, round skate size down to nearest whole size to determine runner size
- Example = Skate size 2.5 D/EE would use a size 2 runner
- Junior size 5.5
- Size 5.5D uses a size 5 runner
- Size 5.5EE uses a size 6 runner
- Longer runner to increase blade-ice contact
- Helps increase speed and energy in push off phase
- Replacement steel for Lightspeed 2 holder
- Stainless blade holds a sharp edge and cuts into the ice
- Gives the ability to make sharp turns and quick stops and starts
- These runners are sold in pairs
