The Vaughn Ventus LT58 Goalie Leg Pads provide excellent protection for youth goaltenders, due to the high quality materials that are used throughout. The LT58 leg pads offer some of the same features that are found on the junior and adult models, but with a scaled down size to meet the needs of young goalies.

The Ventus LT58 leg pads have an internal foam core that has a higher density outer layer to add protection and keep the pad shape consistent. High quality microfiber materials are used throughout the face and side roll of the pads, providing great durability to keep the pads looking new. The rest of the pad is wrapped in a breathable nylon material, making it able to wick away moisture while keeping the pads as light as possible.

The upper leg protection on the LT58 comes from a flexible thigh guard, which is able to contour to the goaltender's leg more effectively. The wide inner side edge and large landing area keep the goalie balanced when dropping into the butterfly. The knee stack consists of medium density foam and is secured by an elastic velcro strap that helps keep the pad in place when dropping to the ice.
