Cut Protection Level

The Vaughn Velocity V5 7990 Pro Goalie Catcher offers solid professional level protection and performance. The Velocity V5 7990 is built using Pro Spec construction ensuring this piece of goalie equipment meets all NHL rules and regulations.
The 7990 Vaughn goalie glove is constructed from the highest grade synthetic leathers, and super tough durable nylon materials ensuring excellent durability. Various lightweight foams are used throughout the goalie glove providing the pro level protection and durability. The palm of the catcher is lined with a nash leather material because of the moisture wicking properties and consistent textured feel even when wet.
Vaughn designed the V5 7990 catch glove with a deep contoured catching surface and wide palm area giving the hockey goalie more depth and surface area to the glove. The new offset T-web has a deeper and wider pocket and added reinforcement in the T-web top for extra support. Skate laces are used for the webbing in the pocket to help retain the puck. The large one-piece cuff design offers a large flat blocking surface and additional protection. The top cuff and thumb is built with a molded deflecting ramp to limit puck skip over and provides additional stiffness and stability along the top edge of the goalie glove. The palm area features an internal section insert that is seamed allowing a precise break-in and an additional layer of padding in the palm contributes to the pro level protection. Increased wrist mobility comes from the wide cuff opening and slight adjustments can be made using the cuff strap.
The fit comes from the new internal hand design giving more vertical thumb angle and hand position. Two adjustable straps lock in your fingers and hand allowing goaltenders to get the most performance out of their goalie equipment. Locking your wrist into place is Vaughn's new anchored wrist strap allowing an even tighter adjustment around the wrist.
