The Vaughn Ventus LT80 Goalie Blocker is constructed from durable materials and advanced level performance features. The Ventus LT80 blocker offers a similar protection and feel as the Vaughn Vision 9400.
The Ventus LT80 features a reinforced high density (HD) internal foam blocker board and polyethylene plastic insert for additional durability and shot protection. The blocker board features a narrowed taper bottom board edge that makes it easier to pick up the goal stick, offers gapless coverage along the ice and allows for effective paddle down positioning. The blocker's side hand protective shield creates addition stiffness and reduces twisting of blocker when taking a shot as well as improves rebound control and protection. The palm is constructed from Vaughn's MSH3 material, specifically selected for it's overall durability and feel. The palm is designed with anatomically curved fingers for a more natural feel, a textured surface that improves grip and padding to help reduce stick vibrations. Large high density (HD) reinforced finger guards provide solid finger tip and hand protection offering wrap around coverage. Hand attachment positioning on the blocker has been moved an inch to drop the board lower, effectively increasing net coverage down low.
