The LT88 Ventus goalie glove has heavily reinforced high density foam padding in high impact areas, greatly reducing "stingers" that occur from hard shots. The flared cuff box helps reduce puck skip over and the binding less design increases the effective blocking surface while reducing the overall weight. The Ventus LT88 catcher features an extra deep T-web pocket and skate lace waxed webbing that reduces puck spin for improved retention and puck control. Back hand protection comes from the extra-large two piece foam flaps which include a fingertip deflecting rail and high density foam over the fingers for seamless coverage. The extra wide cuff has a tapered opening that improves the fit while allowing excellent wrist mobility and protection. The materials used throughout the catcher allow it to be heat formed for a quick break-in, and the neoprene internal hand aligns the glove to provide additional control.
