The Ventus LT88 features precision molded high density plastic bicep and forearm caps encapsulated in foam padding for increased protection. Sectioned mid arm floaters combined with inner and outer elbow caps improve protection and allow a high level of mobility. The arms also feature molded elbow caps reinforced with a comfort foam and a five point elastic adjustment system. The LT88 chest protector has large shoulder floaters constructed with extra hard high density foam for increased protection and blocking. Ergonomic positioning of the chest blocks allow the chest protector to flex and bend with the natural movements of the body. This design allows goaltenders to use their athleticism to move freely, while still ensuring proper protection. The large reinforced sternum plate helps disperse impacts to the vital chest areas as well as adds additional abdomen protection. Stretchable mesh materials that improve ventilation are used throughout, reducing drying time and allowing the goaltender to stay cooler during the game.
