Overview

The Easton V9E Elite Hockey Sticks feature all of the same technology as the Velocity V9E, but the Elite Edition comes in a sleek chrome and black colorway. The V9E Elite stick provides one of the most dangerous shot releases around with it's elliptical taper, while the HyperToe Technology provides players with explosive velocity and pop.

Dating back to the S17, Easton premiered a whole new elliptical taper design that has proven to be a consistent favorite amongst players. It's unique shape is very quick and efficient at loading and releasing energy, resulting in lightning quick shot releases backed by generous velocity.

While the taper hasn't changed much, technology in the blade certainly has. The V9E Elite Stick features HyperToe construction, which helps provides more shot power through it's stiffened toe and softened taper design that creates more force with the same load. The blade also uses aerospace-grade Airex foam in the micro-bladder construction process, both working to produce an excellent blade feel that's consistent from heel to toe.

Comments: ive had the orange v9e for 5 days now and haven't taken it on the rink but have used it at home on my shooting pad. I have to say pucks FLY off of this stick! i had the mako m5 2 85 flex before in the p5 getzlaf pattern the same as this stick it was great and was awesome for ripping it from the point. Im a big guy 6' 4" 290 pounds and i like a very whippy stick but the v9e is stiffer but i like that. my shots are much more accurate i am able to pick corners and 5 hole with ease. as far as durability i think it will hold up in inline hockey for sure. ive always had good luck with my easton sticks not one out of the 3 i have had broke. the ones i have had are the original stealth rs 85 flex iginla pattern, the m5 2 85 flex getzlaf pattern, and the v9e 85 flex getzlaf pattern. all of the held up nicely despite durability complaints. this stick is a great one.
