The Warrior Covert DT1 Ice Hockey Pants are designed to provide pro-level protection in a lightweight and extremely mobile package. Its durable nylon construction features X-stretch panels that allow players legs to move freely. The overall fit of the pant is forward canted, meaning that it sets the player up in natural skating posture. The low-profile of the kidney guards and fitted waist, in combination with the floating hip protection keeps players in natural skating position.

The hip and thigh guards utilize a molded PE backed by thick medium-density foams, providing top notch protection and comfort. Above the waist, Warrior uses 50/Fifty kidney and spine protection. This design utilizes layers of medium and high-density foams to create a molded fit that is both lightweight and extremely protective. Inside the pant, the PE tailbone guard contours to the player to keep the protection where it needs to be. 

The DT1 pants use Warrior's Chillwave liner with polygiene, which regulates the temperature of the liner while wicking away moisture and preventing the growth of odor-causing bacteria. As far as fitting is concerned, Warrior uses two nylon tightening straps around the waist in addition to a traditional lace fastening system in the front of the pants.
