Overview

The Bauer Vapor X800 Hockey Stick is the best bang for the buck model in the new Vapor Stick Line. The X800 showcases a full 3K carbon fiber construction throughout the shaft and blade. The 3K carbon boasts a superb level of responsiveness, durability and balanced feel that's hard to beat at this price point. Bauer also utilized their new QRT (Quick Release Taper) Technology that provides a wicked quick shot release.

The X800's aggressive taper design is pro-inspired because of how seamlessly players can use it to load and release during the shooting process. To make sure pucks go exactly where the shooter wants, Bauer implemented their Pure Shot Blade Profile to reinforce the connection point between the shaft and blade. The blade itself has a dual-density core that's designed to provide excellent puck feel, pop and durability.

Comments: This was my first hockey stick that I bought and I really love it. It has a great flex and you can easy make wrist shots and some snap shots. If you are starting to practice hockey this would be one of your best options to choose.

Comments: I've used this stick for over a solid month now and figured its time to add a solid review since there are none. First off, this stick is very very light. I ended up getting the P28 (Giroux) curve. Warning the P28 curve is a bit of an extreme curve, I was unsure of it at first sight. After I adjusted my shot a little it became a sniping curve in no time, but the best part of the curve is the control I've gained during stick handling. It's awesome! One draw back is the stick is a little short, I'm 6' and I just ordered the 4" extension. If your tall it's a must! So pick one up when you order the stick for like 15 buck more. The stick has good flex and the puck just flies off it with snappers. The price point is excellent for the quality of the stick. I like the design/ color scheme as well. I catch guys eyeballing the stick all the time and don't believe me when I told them how much I payed for it when they hold it. Again it's very very light but solid. I recommend the stick the curve is a personal preference though. Do it.
