Great for compression stockingsI had to wear compression stockings due to recent leg surgery, and this came in handy. It works the same as shirt stays I used in the Air Force. Make sure you have the top of the Velcro matched up with the other side. You'll know if you don't. The other thing, don't pay extra for shipping. It arrived on the same day as it would have if I bought it on Amazon.
Garter belt for compression stockingsI wear a thigh high compression stocking, and the available methods-silicone beads, leg glue, conventional garter belts- for holding them up don't work very well. These hockey garter belts work better. Not perfect, but better. I am a 30 inch waist, right in between the junior and senior sizes. There should be a couple of inches of overlap between the 2 sizes, by making both the hook and the loop velcro pieces another inch longer. As it is, the senior size is too big, so the waist slides down from the stocking tension, and the junior size is REALLY snug on me. Junior size is better for me so that is what I am using. The velcro is pretty stiff and rugged so I have to cover it with a thin cloth or I get a rash. The plastic portion that clips to the metal hoop through the stocking material can sometimes fall out of its metal hoop, moreso on the senior size than on the junior size. I set it to the correct length and then use paper tape to keep it from falling out. They seem to have used a more rigid plastic for the junior size plastic clips. My skin is annoyingly sensitive since COVID so both the plastic clips and the metal hoops caused a wild rash on my thigh, front and back, so I wrapped 3M paper tape around each of them as much as I could while leaving the working parts uncovered. That has worked fairly well and my stocking stays up all day without problems, and without rashes. I will probably have to occasionally replace the paper tape. I only wear a thigh high right stocking, so I cut off the straps and clips on the left side bc the clips left unclipped are otherwise unwieldy and annoying. If I ever have to wear a thigh high left stocking then I will buy another belt with all its clips intact. Thanks for carrying a product that works better than anything else out there. You might consider marketing your product through compression stocking purveyors such as AmesWalker.com and others, because the garter belts found there are really unimpressive.
