Overview
These A&R Hockey Shaft/Stick End Plugs are designed to fit into traditional shaft dimensions and add either 8" or 12" to the length of your stick. These end plugs make your stick longer while lowering the flex for easier loading when shooting. These end plugs will fit into most shafts and sticks but may require some shaving. Does not fit Jr sticks without effortI understand having to sand down the peg to get it to fit, but then don't put glue on it. Add a little ketchup pack size glue packet to use after you get it to fit. By the time I got it to fit all the glue was basically gone from sanding, but now I cant get it out to add new glue to ensure it stays in. Hope its in there good enough, I guess.
Quick, cheap fix.I used this stick end to be able to keep using my $250 junior stick. I needed my 50 flex stick 2 inches longer and this did the job. The glue didn't keep it from loosening or I'd have given it a 5. I just used a small counter sunk wood screw that's covered by tape. I love the xtra flex now and saved $300 for an intermediate stick.
PerfectFits like a glove, doesn't fall out, and easy to cut to the exact length you want. What more could you ask for in a stick end plug?
