Overview
The Bauer Vapor 3X Stick delivers high-end performance and feel for the sniper on a budget who needs a lightning-quick shot release. At just 430 grams (85 flex) with one of the fastest release kick points, the 3X will be a top contender at this mid-price point segment.
The XE Elliptical Taper has taken the Vapor Line to the next level since it debuted in the 2019 Vapor Line, not to mention the 3X is 5% quicker than the previous 2X Team. As a whole, the XE Taper's aggressive shape allows it to be one of the quickest and most accurate on the market, while also shedding weight. It works in conjunction with the BridgeCore Technology in the blade that produces similar benefits through different methods, namely the high-quality foam core and its bridge reinforcement.
While weight reduction and release improvements are always welcomed, Bauer even made the Vapor 3X stick 12% tougher than the previous generation. This can be attributed to the HP Mold construction process and the unidirectional carbon fiber that produces better consistency, durability and longevity.

GENERAL STICK FLEX AND SIZING RECOMMENDATION | |
---|---|
We recommend choosing the hockey stick flex that puts your specific height and weight at the middlemost point in both categories. A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points. See the flex chart and articles below for more detailed information on sizing and selecting hockey sticks. |
