Power-Focused Playing Style
This style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.Acceleration-Focused Playing Style
For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Shoulder Pad is engineered from the inside out to give the quick and agile player pro-level protection in a truly featherlight package.
The DNA that makes up the Hyperlite Shoulder pads includes AeroFoam 2.0 Lite, Hyperlite HD Foam, Shocklite Foam, and Exo-Lite Skin. Each of these elite-level materials is extraordinarily lightweight but strategically designed to absorb impact energy. Aerolite 2.0 Foam shoulder caps specifically are ready to take on or dish out a big, heavy hit while giving players the feeling like they don't even have shoulder pads on.
Both the sternum and spine guard feature Bauer's Hyperlite HD Foam with their Shocklite Foam insert. This provides exceptional protection from hard-fought battles along the boards, in front of the net, or direct impacts taken from blocked shots. It's built into a Flexaprene construction which allows the Hyperlite Shoulder pads to sit close to the body for unrestricted range of motion.
Exo-Lite Skin can be found on the bicep guards to give players elite-level impact protection from slashes, cross-checks, or body collisions. The biceps have a sleeve fit design to eliminate unwanted chaffing caused by standard Velcro closures but without sacrificing fit adjustability.
Internally, the all-new Thermo Core Zero liner eliminates odor, wicks sweat away from the skin, and now provides players with a cooling effect.

| GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |

| Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. | |
