Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.

- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The CCM Axis F5 Certified Straight Bar Goalie Mask offers incredible protection and comfort for the competitive goalie at a more approachable price. Shots are efficiently deflected by the polycarbonate shell while strategic ventilation ports promote excellent airflow throughout the game.
Internally, CCM used multi-layer VN foams to add an extra layer of shock absorption and internal comfort. Externally, the carbon steel cage is perfectly positioned for premium visibility to track every puck and ensure top-level coverage against incoming shots. The backplate comes with a multipoint adjustment system to give goalies the perfect fit, and Junior models come with Velcro attachments that make in-game adjustments a breeze.
