The CCM Axis F9 Non-Certified Cat Eye Goalie Mask is built with a non-certified cat eye cage construction for truly maximum vision and is boosted with a Shock Dampening System, giving tendies incredible impact protection and greater force absorption. CCM's new ExoShell Fiberglass construction then delivers elite-level protection at a more approachable price. Its design is built to handle even the most formidable impacts and has strategically positioned deflection points, empowering goalies to boldly face every shot with unwavering assurance.
The shell features CCM's innovative AER-TEC Ventilation System, which are vents with an optimized shape and strategic placement for premium airflow. These vents work seamlessly with the ventilation channels built throughout the liner, allowing maximum air circulation to keep the head cool and body temperature regulated.
Speaking of the liner, goalies of all skill levels will instantly love the comfort and protection it has to offer. While I.Q. Shion Dri acts as an incredible memory-like foam, it's reinforced in key impact areas with CCM's exclusive D3O Smart Foam. This resilient foam is purely designed to handle the energy of every type of impact by reacting upon the force and then absorbing and dissipating the energy. D3O foam is even found within the triple-density foam chin cup!
Another wonderful upgrade is the new backplate design which now only has two attachment points. It provides easier adjustment along the base of the mask and consistent adjustment across the backplate for a fit that's better than ever. With the removal of the strap fixtures along the top of the shell, it also creates more canvas space on the shell and backplate for when goalies want to deck out their new mask with legendary graphics.
