If the CCM FM500 Cage looks familiar, it's because it features the same core design of the popular FM580 cage, but was tweaked to fit the FitLite FL500 helmet.

Through the high-visibility area in the front of the eyes, CCM utilized flat carbon wires that maximize on-ice vision and have an aggressive, intimidating look. The dual-density, floating chin cup comfortably and securely fits the cage to a player's face and adds a bit more protection.

Worked like it was supposed toSon took a slap shot to the face and cage absorbed the blow (dented). The dampeners in the screw clips must have worked as designed.
