Power-Focused Playing Style
This style suits players who thrive on generation strong, top end speed through longer and forceful strides. They come with a stiffer boot that efficiently transfers energy into the rink for maximum power with every stride.Acceleration-Focused Playing Style
For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The CCM FM580 Cage has many of the same features as the popular FM480, but with a few performance-focused refinements. CCM widened the cage to increase visibility, and they also upgraded to a dual-density floating chin cup with a microwick liner.

Comments: I love this cage. It made the transition from visor to cage much easier since it has great visibility and the floating chin cup really works well for my bearded face. Absolutely recommend it.

Comments: This facemask has held up well, I really wanted to play with just a visor but I decided it's not worth the risk. The first game putting this on my v10,took a slap shot to the face from one of the bigger stronger shooters in the league. No dents, not chipped pant, and no pain. The only thing I would like is a better chin cup but it's not that big of a deal. The fit is perfect and the small and medium facemasks fit the medium helmet perfectly, I was impressed enough with mine to buy my wife one aswell for her v10.
