For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The CCM HVR Hybrid Visor and Cage is the perfect blend of breathability, visibility, protection, and style. The HVR provides an unobstructed view with the high-end visor that's integrated with the flat carbon steel wires for incredible airflow. To top it off, the HVR visor is replaceable, so if it ever needs to be replaced, players can save money by not having to buy an entire setup.
Comparable to the VR Pro visor, the HVR boasts top-tier anti-fog, anti-glare, and scratch resistance. The dialed-in optical clarity means a player's vision isn't distorted due to the visor shape, which is a serious problem with entry-level visors on the market. CCM made sure to include a helmet bag to protect the visor when it's not in use. Additionally, the visor comes with a protective film to help prevent scratches during installation, so don't forget to remove it before stepping on the rink!
The thin, flat cage wires were strategically placed to provide the very best unobstructed field of vision. Plus, the black chrome finish provides a modern, sleek look that mirrors some of the most popular cages in the game today.
