CCM used the innovative Interchangeable Blade System by starting the skater on Stability Blades, which are flatter and thicker, to make standing up and balancing much easier than traditional blades. Once the skater is comfortable, parents can easily replace them with the Performance Blades, which are the same profile as other CCM skates, for more advanced performance that the developing skater will need. Both sets of blades are included with each purchase too!
The boot itself has been completely redesigned for the youth player too. The JetSpeed skate has a shorter boot height and more flexible eyelets to improve fit, mobility and overall comfort. The plush internal foams and soft liner will also help to keep the feet comfortably locked in too.
