The CCM JetSpeed FT6 Team Stick offers excellent value for the price, especially with the new Pure Carbon Technology that helps bring the weight down to just 429 grams (85 flex). To also improve the balance point and puck feel, CCM also used the premium Sigmatex Carbon Fiber in the blade for the first time ever at this price point.
From an overall feel standpoint, the FT6 Team elevates the playing experience with the new FT Microfeel shaft dimensions. These raised ridges on the underside of the shaft provide much better feedback on lower hand placement especially during intense play.
Much like the name implies, the FT6 Team stick is perfect for competitive hockey especially if phsycial play is expected. The reinforced JF-90 blade construction makes sure the high-impact areas of the blade, like the heel and toe, are extra reinforced for long lasting durability.

A common rule of thumb is to select a flex rating by dividing your body weight in two and subtracting another 10-15 flex points.
