Overview
The CCM JetSpeed FT880 Shin Guards are built for the competitive player who relies on their quick and agile movements and seeks featherlight protection. With the help of CCM's AER-TEC Ventilation System, which are ventilation ports on the shell and internal liner, air is allowed to circulate the leg to decrease skin temperature and quickly evaporate sweat.
Compress-molded foam and PE insert built into the floating calf guard ensures excellent impact protection and coverage against slashes when driving your way to the net. To help players achieve the perfect fit so that the shin guards stay locked on the leg is a length-adjustable calf strap. Simply utilize the Velcro attachment to dial in where the strap sits on the leg and you're ready to hit the rink with pad security.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
