Overview
The CCM Next Shin Guard is a great choice for new and recreational hockey players looking for lightweight, reliable protection at an affordable price. Its updated anatomical narrow fit keeps the guard close to the leg for excellent comfort and natural mobility right from the first skate.
Lightweight PE foam and molded plastic inserts help protect the shin, knee, and calf from sticks, pucks, and falls, while CCM's JDP knee cap is designed to help direct impact energy away from the knee joint. An adjustable two-strap system with a nylon upper strap and wide elastic calf strap keeps the shin guard comfortably locked in place.
Inside, the removable sublimated PE foam liner provides soft comfort that can be taken out after the game for quicker drying and easier cleaning.

Sizing Chart
| GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
|---|---|
| Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
| If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
