Overview

The CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Youth Shoulder Pads offer premium protection and maximum coverage for the competitive young player. With Compression-molded EVA Foam and D3O reinforcing the sternum guard, players are receiving elite-level protection to a very important area of the body. D3O reacts quickly upon taking an impact and absorbs the energy for pro-level protection.

This sternum guard also floats above the torso protection which gives players incredible mobility while ensuring there are no gaps in protection. The spine, shoulder caps, and bicep guards all utilize molded plastic for excellent protection against impacts or collisions.

CCM designed the head opening with their E-Fit stretch neck, an elastic design to add comfort and make dressing even easier. Players can also fine-tune their fit by adjusting or removing the belly guard and using the bicep length extension. Internally, a soft liner adds an element of comfort and quickly wicks sweat and moisture away from the body.

GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES
Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness.
