Designed for players who regularly step into the shooting lanes and battle through heavy traffic, the CCM Tacks XR Pro Shin Guards deliver CCM's most advanced protection package in the lineup. The new FZN Shield construction uses an injection-molded shin cap fused with an internal plastic sling to improve coverage on both sides of the leg, while the injection-molded calf guard self-conforms arond the lower leg for a secure, protective wrap. High-density foam dampening and D3O Zero reinforce the calf, helping absorb hard slashes, blocked shots, and contact along the boards.

D3O Zero is also placed in the knee cap and lower shell liner, providing elite impact protection without making the pads feel unnecessarily bulky. A compression-molded EVA FlexMotion thigh guard adds adjustable coverage above the knee whil allowing the leg to move naturally through each stride. High-density foam and a PE insert reinforce the knee wing, giving players added confidence when grinding in the corners or setting up shop in front of the crease.

To keep the protection planted during quick transitions and heavy contact, the XR Pro uses a padded Hyper X Lock Strap at the knee and a length-adjustable dual-elastic calf strap for a secure wrap around the leg. The AdaptFit liner can be adjusted or removed at the bottom to accommodate tongues-in or tongues-out setups, resulting in a premium, locked-in feel that stays comfortable and protective from the opening faceoff through the final shift.
