Level of Play Definitions
If multiple categories are selected, it indicates the skate is suitable for multiple levels of play.
-
Recreational-Level
Recreational ice hockey skates are built for the new-to-hockey player or casual skaters that are looking for an affordable option. These are great starter skates, especially for youth players.
-
Performance-Level
Performance-level ice hockey skates are a great fit for players who are confident in their skating stride and are ready to take their on-ice performance to the next level. These players are on the ice 1-2 times a week playing mid-to-high level hockey.
-
Elite-Level
Elite-level ice hockey skates are built for the best performance, protection, durability, and comfort. These players are usually on the ice three times or more a week and are playing high-level hockey.
Built with a stiffer 40/60 composite boot, the 301 is designed to turn effort into power on every stride without losing the classic Daoust step-in comfort players have loved for generations. Internally, heat-moldable VE Poly foam paired with a flashy, checkered moisture-managing microfiber liner works to comfortably lock the foot in from first shift to last.
Across the top of the foot, an upgraded 7mm pro felt tongue with an integrated lace-bite guard delivers excellent protection while still allowing for full forward flex. Below the boot, Daoust brings back the Perfecta Kwik-1 quick-release holder system, allowing players to swap damaged or broken SLM Carve steel quickly and easily when it matters most.
If you're looking to make more of a statement, the 301 Taboo delivers the exact same construction in a bold, all-white boot.
