Built around a stiff 70/30 composite boot and a full carbon fiber outsole, the 701 is engineered for modern responsiveness and efficient energy transfer. The added torsional rigidity translates into explosive first steps, powerful full-length strides, and confident edge control for today's fast, aggressive style of play.
Inside, Daoust balances elite performance with legendary comfort. Dual VE Poly foam wraps the foot in a custom-like fit, while the Diamond Proformance Clarino liner provides pro-level durability and moisture management. Whether it's a high-intensity game or a long practice, the 701 keeps feet dry, locked in, and comfortable when performance matters most.
Up top, the reinforced 7mm Pro Felt Tongue features Daoust's highest-level lace-bite guard, protecting against blocked shots, slashes, and heavy impacts. It's fully adjustable and replaceable, allowing players to fine-tune internal fit over time and extends the lifespan so you can replace just the tongue, instead of the entire skate.
