The Grit Sumo goalie bag sets itself apart from other goaltending bags because of its incredibly well-designed shelving and drying system. A shelving system is an invaluable tool for saving time and hassle when storing or removing gear and is a great preventative measure against crusting or rusting that occurs due to gear being crammed inside an enclosed space. The ventilated cooling system combines the shelf drying compartments with ventilation holes and mesh panels on the back of the bag. This helps keep the airflow going throughout the bag whether the front is unzipped or not, allowing the gear to dry even when it's being transported.
The Sumo goalie bag also has a removable mesh bag that is great for storing jocks and performance wear and has a fold-out carpet that helps reduce your chance of catching a fungal infection from the petri dish that is a hockey locker room floor. The outside of the bag features sturdy nylon hooks that are used to attach the leg pads, and has quick-release shock cords to ensure that the pads stay put.
