Inline Speed (or Race) Boots are intended for advanced level skaters that will benefit most from their high-end performance features. A lower cut profile in the ankle is much lower than a recreational or cross-training boot. This allows for a greater range of motion to gain more of a edge on the wheels and increase power. Inline race boots are most often not comfortable out of the box, but are stiff and most often require heat-molding to obtain a correct, comfortable fit. High-tech resins and carbon material are often used to maximize strength and stiffness while reducing weight.

The manufacturer recommended fit will be snug to enhanced performance. Round up to the next largest size if wishing to have room at the toe.
