For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Labeda Evo Spacer Kit is the replacement hardware for only the innovative Labeda Whip Wheels. This kit will fit (4) Whip wheels and will not fit any other brand or model of hockey wheel.
The new EVO Spacer System that places the bearings side by side in the core without a traditional spacer, players will immediately feel a whole new level of speed snapback, glide and grip in their game.
Compared to traditional spacer systems that have a large gap between the bearings, the Evo Spacers and Whip Wheels are able to concentrate power through the center of the wheel. This allows players to flex the entire wheel and not just the top part of the urethane, creating significantly more speed-promoting rebound and much better gripping power. Another important improvement of having the bearings right next to each is to prevent bearing bind and the massive glide and power decrease that occurs in traditional wheels.
For compatibility, the Evo Spacers will only work on the Labeda Whip Wheels. The EVO Spacers are not included with the wheels and will not work with traditional spacers. You must purchase a separate set of EVO Spacers and we highly recommend purchasing a backup set of EVO spacers to keep in your bag.
