So far so goodThis is the first pair of skates I've bought for my son, but based on reviews from more experienced skaters, these were the best value for starting out. Having them now, they seem to be very good quality and super cute.
Plate crackedNot even a year in use and the plate cracked on one of our skates. I would hope that they would have been high enough quality to handle the use better.
Good fit, sized down, very comfortableI’m basically a beginner, haven’t skated in more than 20 years, but these have been great at the rink and are very very comfortable. Also, they are clearly adorable! I wear an 8.5 and these don’t come in half sizes. I tried the nine, but it was much too big, the eight is great and still a little roomy. Customer service was excellent working through the exchange.
Perfect to start and continue.I bought these for my daughter after she realized she wanted to skate like me more. She had the "grow with me" roller derby skates before and they just weren't safe to grow with lol. She has a lot more stability and adjustable trucks. The toe stop is also very good quality and I love that I can change them out. I just wish it came with softer wheels but nothing a little switcharoo couldn't handle. If you're considering an actual skate for a newbie that doesn't break the bank and is safe get this one. It's worth the extra $50
A little hard to break inThese are a little harder to break in because they’re made of vinyl material, but so far they’re my favorite skate. I wear them to the skating rink every weekend with my rollerbones indoor wheels.

Comments: I wanted to get into skating without spending tons of money. Since who knows if I will stick with it. These were great! I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes. I ordered a 7 since I'm always wary of my wide feet. They fit good I might of been able to go down a size but not sure maybe wouldn't of fit. I wear with thick socks and they work great. They are wide. I thought they were great starter skates. I got the yellow and have gotten so many compliments.

Comments: Great for the price! Heads up: standard imperial toe stops like Antik Gumball or Moxi Brake Petals DO NOT FIT in this skate's plate; the threading is different. Don't buy if you plan to replace the toe stops. Yes, this is in the fine print, but it is easy to miss.

Comments: These skates have been on my teenager's wishlist for a long time so I asked around to see if they worked as well as they looked. I was glad to hear that Moxi doesn't value form over function so I could expect a pair skates that looked great AND worked great! I paid close attention to the size chart and ordered accordingly so they fit perfect. (I'm thrilled that she and I wear the same size actually bc I've taken a spin on them as well!)

I've used them a couple of times and I love them! the boot is pretty stiff but I've been storing it with the laces wrapped around the ankle to help break it in to the tightness I need it to be. definitely the least expensive skates I could find that are still decent quality.
