Atop Disc Turn-Dial Closure System
The Powerslide Accel 195 Boots in Black are high-performance carbon boots with a sleek fit and two types of lacing. Combine these with the frames and wheels of your choosing to be skating at the front of the pack.
They are meticulously made for speed and agility serious skaters have come to expect from Powerslide. The boots are hand-lasted with two layers of carbon, glass fiber, and Kevlar. A-Top Disc Closure Lacing is used on the lower boot helping to give the perfect, firm wrap with a simple turn of the dial. Rotate clockwise to loosen or counterclockwise to tighten. They also have a micro-adjustable Icon Ratchet Buckles and standard lacing on the uppers.

| Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. Better with PowerslideGetting the right size was painless. Heating the boots made them fit very well, some would say like a glove.
My first racing boot came with the bont frame. I couldn't get them on without heat. Heat voids the return policy. I called the factory and was not surprised at the poor response. I expected better. I even suggested that I would pay for an upgraded boot if they would give me a discount for the ones I couldn't fit into. Nope. I voided their 'sacred' return policy by heating boots in order to try them on. The opening envelope is so small and stiff, I don't know why anyone else would buy them. The people I spoke with could not be persuaded to reason. "They" had a policy in place... Sounded like an empty warehouse or shell to me.
Inline Warehouse's care and concern over my injury was overwhelming. (I dropped a car battery on my big toenail.) I was waiting for the new boots but couldn't try them on when they came. They were quick to understand. And they wrote many times to express what to do. THAT is customer care and service!
A fantastic race bootA stiff race boot which directs push force to the frame & wheels. Heat molding yields a great fitting, comfortable race boot without having to opt for a custom built boot.
A feature I really love is the rotary dial which tightens/loosens the laces on the lower half of the boot. This makes it easy to get the skates on your feet quickly!
