Custom Profiling has been a game-changer from NHL athletes to the competitive youth player. The new triple-radii Goalie Sam Profile takes a modern approach by shaping the bottom of your runner to maximize stability, power and mobility, unlike the traditionally flat runner design.
Traditional goalie runners have a 27' to 30' radius. The Goalie Sam profile sets the runner up with a front radius of 10' which allows for quicker shuffles and complements skating outside of the crease. The middle section is a very flat 50mm (1.9") radius that provides top-notch stability and balance, while also promoting stronger cross-crease pushes. Then in the rear, a long 27' radius makes for smooth transitions for c-cuts as well as better balance deep in stance. The perfect combination for the modern style goalie which requires quickness in and out of the crease, balance and powerful pushes.
