Blue's CluesThe quality of the outer layer is not good for roller derby. Given how much we fall, stretch, or take a knee, I leave blue marks all over the rink. It took months for it to be worn out enough for that to stop. I think they go up way too high on the laces as well, it's been hard to tighten my boots far enough for proper fit.

Perfect fit for SolarisI really love this toe guard. It’s the perfect fit for my Solaris skates I also ordered from DerbyWarehouse. I love how the guard covers more of the skate than other toe guards. I also love that the laces connect with the guard midway up the tongue, rather than at the toe. I have high arches so this type of application seems to work better with the lace pattern I use to redistribute the pressure. The quality is very good and I feel my skates are well protected. It has a sleek look and is perfect for roller derby. I ordered in black. My only wish is that derby warehouse carried this product in pink! I will order when it does!
