Overview
The Sherwood 5030 Hall of Fame Shoulder Pads were designed through the unification of modern technology and 70 years of hockey tradition. One of the lightest shoulder pads on the market, the 5030 Hall of Fame is built for the vintage hockey player who can not only dish out but also take the abuse.
Still bearing a classic construction, the HOF 5030 shoulder pads feature a standard foam construction with beefed-up areas like the spine and biceps. The shoulder caps have hard molded plastic protection with additional standard foam for impact protection and player comfort.

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SHOULDER PAD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure the circumference of your chest roughly 1" below the armpit using a soft measuring tape, string, or shoelace. Correspond this measurement to the sizing chart and cross-reference your height. Personal preference may come into consideration in case there is an overlap between two shoulder pad sizes. For more coverage, go with the larger size. Choose the smaller size for a lower-profile fit and better responsiveness. |

Customer Reviews
Perfect pads for the more mature playerGot back into hockey after a significant amount of time off. The Velcro on my old Kohos wasn't holding, so I bought some battle armour shoulder pads. So uncomfortable and ill fitting. All that protection in front will not contour to any hint of a beer belly. These come just to the top of the belly! Now if the would just consider beer belly in the design of pants and girldles.
Low profile and perfectJust what I was looking for. Fits true to size and isnt too bulky.
Amazing!Been using these for 4 almost 5 years now they are great and lightweight. I play beer league now so they're perfect but I used them in high school, it was great for giving and taking hits and I would eat shots in em too. Buy them!
Extremely light and low profileI was looking for something that wasn't too bulky and someone recommended the Sherwood 5030, glad I listened because they fit like a glove and don't get in the way of agility. Perfect for Beer League or even more contact hockey, some NHL players still use these today. You probably shouldn't be diving in front of 90mph slappers with these but if you're a bigger guy you might get away with it. I'm 6'0" and 185 lbs and ordered a size Large and they fit perfectly.
